THE STOLEN CHILD: ANIMATING POETRY
ABOUT THE ARTIST: NATALIE CURTIS
Animator | Illustrator | Writer
BIOGRAPHY
Natalie Curtis is a UConn senior from the quaint farm town of Lebanon, Connecticut, only a short, scenic drive from the Storrs campus. Though such a rural, sleepy town might appear rather mundane at first glance, a quiet childhood spent catching anything from frogs to fireflies and exploring the woods has spurred Natalie’s lifelong appreciation for nature. It is this passion that she strives to integrate into her work as an animator, digital illustrator, and writer.
Natalie’s love of local history, alongside her interest in culture, folklore, and art have all greatly influenced her educational journey and led her to where she stands today, as a Digital Media and Design major with a minor in Art History. Natalie plans to further her education at a higher institute of learning and strives to one day further cultivate her passions and interests as a museum curator, art historian, folklorist, or in a similar profession and is beyond excited to discover what remains to be learned, wherever her path may lead.
